Part1
As a scholar-practitioner evaluator, you must have an awareness of the current research literature in your field regarding AEA practices. Research literature in any field is ongoing, offering new perspectives and modifications to existing theory and practices. Therefore, citing and referencing peer-reviewed literature is an essential step toward ensuring a comprehensive course of study.
Throughout this course, you develop an annotated bibliography*. The rationale for this Assignment is not only to become aware of the current perspectives and changes within your field but also to assist you in building a professional tool kit of knowledge, strategies, and references you may use in your professional practice. In this week, you focus on the selection and annotation of articles related to decision-making models focused on assessment, evaluation, and accountability practice.

To prepare for this Assignment, identify two peer-reviewed articles and one other resource (e.g., professional conference article, professional website) related to decision-making models that may be important to your current or future professional practice.
Assignment length: 2–3 total pages
· Summarize: Summarize the main ideas of each article and resource (e.g., focus of the study, decision-making model, context, methodology, findings, conclusions, arguments).
· Assess: Complete a comparative analysis of the articles.
· Reflect: Explain the implications for assessment, evaluation, and accountability practice. Provide a rationale to support your explanation including references to peer-reviewed journal articles to support your rationale.

Part2
On a regular basis, you make ongoing decisions, many of which are made unconsciously without analysis. However, this type of decision making is not appropriate for professionals and organizations expected to apply their knowledge in making educated decisions. Professionals and organizations often use a variety of decision-making models to inform the on-going processes of AEA. Decision-making models are selected based on alignment to purposes and goals. In this Discussion, you explore the use of decision-making models in AEA. You consider models for your survey through an examination of benefits and limitations.
To prepare for this Discussion, review decision-making models discussed in the Learning Resources. Consider the fit of the model with the purpose and goals of your survey.
Part1 of the discussion
Post a brief explanation of the purpose and goals of your survey instrument. Provide a rationale to support your purpose and goals including references to two peer-reviewed journal articles.
Part2 of the discussion
Post an analysis of two decision-making models you might use after you have collected the data from your survey. In your analysis, include at least two benefits and two limitations for each model in regard to your purpose and goals. Finally, from your analysis, select one decision-making model and provide a rationale for your selection. Include references to two peer-reviewed journal articles to support your rationale.
