Task summary:

Describe and reflect upon, the process of researching your problem, identifying a solution and designing your poster. Use the project to reflect upon the skills you have developed and consolidated during the module.

Assignment instructions:

For this task, you must produce a project reflecting on the process of researching and designing your academic poster.  

Your preparation for this task will require you to take part in two in-class activities: In week 4, in class, you will discuss your chosen problem and in week 6 you will discuss your planned solution. Your peers will give feedback on your chosen problem and proposed solution and the planning you have done. Use this feedback to improve your ideas.

By completing this assessment, you will have shown and be assessed on all four of the learning outcomes:

LO 1 – Demonstrate good communication skills with appropriate use of digital media.

LO 2 – Conduct a defined investigation on a topic relating to the subject area by selecting organising and presenting information from a range of good quality sources.  

LO 3 – Develop and evidence project management skills, reflecting on the process of conducting the investigation

LO 4 – (Graduate Attribute 2: Contextually Innovative) Solve given and clearly defined, carry out predefined and possibly innovative approaches and check and understand how the solution has solved the problem, reflecting on the solution achieved.
