Depending on the size of your institution and the complexity of your EHR requirements, the time to implementation could range from 6 months up to 2 years.

Your implementation plan should be 3–5 pages and include the following:

Define the steps needed to implement the system. Describe a time line to implementation that includes the following: Installing the new equipment or software Testing the system Training the staff Who will provide training? How will the system be supported and by whom?
