Assignment Overview Now it is time to create the diagrams you will use to show graphically how the user will interact with the system, including the inputs, processes, storage, and outputs. These diagrams will be used by developers to create the system including the data structure, data types, business rules, and more.

Assignment Preparation Review Feedback Before you begin the assignment, review the feedback you received on your task analysis and task flow as well the comments from your classmates on your discussion post in the Week 3 discussion. Using the information gathered, begin listing all the entities (tables) and attributes (fields) within it. Ensure that you do not save the same data in several areas but instead link the entities using primary keys and foreign keys.

Choose a Tool to Design Your Diagrams You may use any tool available to you that will allow you to create simple skeletal sketches of each diagram of the assignment. You should embed the diagrams as images in the Software Development Plan (SDP) Template [DOCX]Download Software Development Plan (SDP) Template [DOCX].

Possible tools include MS Viso, MS Paint, or even MS Word using the built-in drawing tools. You may also use other prototyping tools that are available as open source or via free trial downloads. The only requirement is that you should be able to paste the diagram in the Software Development Plan (SDP) Template [DOCX] in Section 3.

Assignment Instructions In SDP Section 3, Use Case and Entity Relationship Diagrams, please create the use case diagram and the entity relationship diagram (ERD) and paste each into their respected subsection. Ensure you label each figure and write a summary of at least three substantive and original sentences about the diagrams, including types of data being collected, how they are grouped, constraints (acceptable values for each field), and how they link to the other entities.
