SBL 105 Assignment Brief: 

Task 

Assume that a Finance / Accounting department in an organisation of your choice (preferably use a name of an existing accounting firm) has a new vacancy that must be filled. Prepare the following documents that you deem fit for the purpose of recruiting the new employee. 

Include the following in your submission: 

1. Departmental minutes of a meeting in which it was decided to have a new post. 

2. Memorandum from the departmental head to HR asking for a new employee to be recruited for the new post. 

3. Job advertisement accompanied by a justification of the media used for the advertisement. (Justification is not part of the portfolio and should be put in the Appendices) - Use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok 

4. Application letter for the job advertised. 

5. Curriculum Vitae 

6. Offer Letter 

7. Acceptance Letter 

8. Reference list of academic materials used during research
