She needs constant care. She cannot communicate well in wordsbut uses non-verbal communication to indicate her needs. Recently, Ula asked the nurse togive Ana a hysterectomy, stating that this will prevent Alia from menstruating. She feels that menstruation will make Alia more uncomfortable and would affect her dignity. Ulaalso believes that Ana would not marry and have a child in future.
