The assessment for this module will compromise of 2 compulsory parts; each task is worth 50% of the overall mark. This is part 1

Assignment instructions: Part 1. Academic Poster (1 x page of A1 landscape or portrait) 2000-words 1. Design a 1-page A1 size academic poster on a cybercrime topic of your choice. Your poster must show your ability to research and present information, which is clear, accessible, and engaging to an appropriate audience. You must consider how to best present and balance the information you wish to include alongside the use of visual elements and illustrations where appropriate. Your poster must demonstrate: • Evidence of planning, researching, and presenting information on your chosen cybercrime topic to an appropriate audience • The use of academic content and other relevant sources throughout with appropriate in-text citations • The ability to present material in an aesthetically engaging manner both through the layout and design of the poster and the use of visual elements to supplement and enhance the main message. • The ability to reach and communicate a conclusion. By completing this assessment, you will have shown and be assessed on all five of the learning outcomes: LO1: Critically examine and discuss the theoretical perspectives that relate to the study of Cybercrime LO2 Critically assess the right to freedom of speech and expression in respect of public protection and safety. LO3: Demonstrate a critical understanding of key concepts such as grooming, incitement, coercion, radicalisation and the dark web. LO4: Analyse the threats of the dark web and the harms associated with the use of the darknet LO5: Critically evaluate and further contextualise understanding of subject area with the ability to link the discipline(s) to local, national and global issues, research and pursue evidence-based arguments within the discipline using an extensive range of academic and professional body resources (Graduate Attribute: Professionally knowledgeable in their subject area).
