(d) Discuss the impact deployments and war have on military spouses and children in the following areas: (I) Housing stability for the family – (5 points) (ii) Death or disabilities suffered by service members. – (5 points) (iii) Children’s emotional development - (5 points) (iv) Impact of PTSD on Spousal relationships - 5 points (f) Identify and explain two non-therapy resources available to support military personnel, veterans, and their families – (2 points) (e) Identify and explain one therapy strategy social workers can use to address military couples’ relationship issues. – (2 points) (f) State and explain with practical examples, two roles the social worker can play in ensuring military families obtain government and private resources to assist them. – (2 points) (g) Social Justice Analyze how the dynamics of power, privilege, and oppression create PTSD and inhibit the resolution of the problem. – (2 points) Discuss how the resolution of the problem will promote human rights including social, economic, and environmental justice for Military personnel and their families. – (2 points).
