Details
For this final course project assignment, objectively evaluate and apply the findings of your critical analysis and the readings from the course on a topic demonstrating the reciprocal relationship between families and disabilities within a context of diversity for both. Scholarly, professional writing is required. This provides practice for both comprehensive exams and the dissertation process.
Organize your paper for this assignment into the following sections:
Topic: Describe the topic you selected in the Week 5 assignment. Explain how current research supports your topic selection.
Scholarly Review and Critical Analysis: Provide a review of the literature, synthesizing the research to
present a thorough picture of what is known about your chosen topic. Gaps or problems in the existing literature should be clearly formulated. Provide a brief summary of your review of the research literature on the topic. This should be demonstrated by providing a statement about the body of existing literature on the topic, and then summarizing recent research findings on the topic, highlighting the findings that are most relevant to your topic. Be sure to provide appropriate in-text citations and include references in the reference section.
Your paper should also include the following:
Scholarly Communication Style: Support your findings through peer-reviewed, scholarly journal
articles. Write in a professional, scholarly style using current APA guidelines and formatting for your entire paper, not just references and citations.
