Assessment Tasks

Both papers must have been published within the last three years.
Only use papers from established, peer-reviewed journals. Platforms such as ResearchGate and arXiv are not acceptable for citation.
Provide full citations in APA 7th edition format for each paper.

Thoroughly read both selected papers to understand the research topic, methodology, and key findings.

Reflect on limitations regarding the generalisability of the findings due to specific contexts or technologies used.

Task 4 (LO3): Formulating Research Questions

Based on the identified research gaps, create two well-formulated research questions for each paper. Ensure the questions are:

Specific: Focused on a narrow and clear aspect of the broader research topic.
Feasible: Researchable within the time, resource, and methodological constraints.
Significant: Capable of contributing valuable knowledge to the field.

Task 5 (LO3): Critical Reflection

For each selected paper:

Explain how having a well-defined, focused research question can improve the effectiveness of research or professional practice.
Discuss the potential negative consequences of poorly formulated research questions in each respective context.
