Note: Although this formative pre-assessment is not graded, a submission is required before you can advance to your summative assessment.

Module Pre-Assessments are your opportunity to practice applying module content before final submission of your Competency Assessment. Use the Module 3 Pre-Assessment Performance Task Submission Template to complete the Pre-Assessment.

For your Module 3 Pre-Assessment, respond to the following prompts. These prompts match those in your Final Assessment. This pre-Assessment prompt includes only parts of your final Assessment. For a full description of the final Assessment and relevant directions, please refer to the final Assessment area.

Complete the Module 3 Performance Task Assessment Template following the steps to conduct research and find relevant sources related to your research question.

Based on the development of your PICO question and the related literature search, summarize the top three themes or key takeaways from your review of the literature. Write a brief synopsis of what you learned and how you could use in your future searches. Make sure to elaborate and fully explain each theme. Cite sources as needed.

Once you submit your responses, assess yourself using the rubric provided. Use your Pre-Assessment submission and any feedback you may garner to improve and refine your responses.
