Research the assigned tool and understand its functionality.   Choose a topic that you are interested in and use the tool  practically in a meaningful way (e.g., research, data analysis,  visualization, modeling).   Add at least 3 resources to LM on your topic of choice and create a podcast (using the Notebook LM) and submit your podcast. Submit your process and findings in 500 words along with the podcast.  

Discussion: Amazon's Hiring After reading the case and watching the material here: Amazon's Hiring, write an initial discussion post (500 words) in which you evaluate why Amazon’s hiring model failed and what the company should have done in response.

In your post, address the following:

Identify 2–3 specific problems with the model. Explain where the root data issues occurred, using at least two of the following:  biased training data flawed labels proxy variables in features Choose one response option from the case:  A. Deploy the model as-is B. Use the model only as a support tool with human oversight C. Redesign the model before any use D. Abandon the approach entirely Justify your choice using evidence from the case, including:  model performance potential cost savings bias risk legal or reputational concerns If you choose B or C, propose 1–2 concrete changes that would improve the system. Your response should be concise,  analytical, and grounded in the case. You do not need outside research.  Focus on applying course concepts clearly and directly.
