STAKEHOLDER A Discussing the focus group with you, he decides he wants to use a “made by kids for kids” campaign and thinks we should select a few kids to mix juices and name the outcome
Part 2
Now you need to interview your stakeholders. You take your notes and list of requirements to stakeholders A and B to review.
STAKEHOLDER A
Discussing the focus group with you, he decides he wants to use a “made by kids for kids” campaign and thinks we should select a few kids to mix juices and name the outcome.
STAKEHOLDER B
She thinks we will increase our sales by using more color. She wants to make the juice with bright colors and have matching packaging that really sticks out. She thinks we should have purple, red, and blue options to launch with.
Considering the given scenario, respond to the following question in 175 words or less:
What 2 new requirements would you capture from your stakeholder discussions?
After talking with each stakeholder individually and capturing their thoughts, you take it back to your team. The team doesn’t like the ideas. They think parents won’t want to buy a crazy-named drink that doesn’t reveal what is in it. They also point out there was a loss in sales from a previous product that used artificial coloring.
As the product owner, you are responsible for a successful launch and meeting your stakeholders’ needs.
Considering the given scenario, respond to the following questions in 350 words or less:
Evaluate how you are going to make that a reality. Assess 3 ways you could meet your outlined requirements and still take your team’s advice into consideration. Example:
If there is something you’re not sure will sell well, take a prototype back to a focus group and test it. You can have another group of kids or parents to learn from. If it is clearly not doing well in the focus groups, take that information back to your stakeholders and see if they decide to adjust the requirement.
