The term “digital change” refers to phenomena of change triggered by the spread of digital information and communication technologies (Lengsfeld, 2023). It involves rethinking and redesigning business processes, customer experiences, and the value proposition offered to customers.
For this assignment, you will be acting as the new “Senior Digital Business Consultant” responsible for coordinating and providing technology expertise to your organisation.
For ONE of the retail organisations below, the chief information officer (CIO) has tasked you to produce a “Future Trend Report and a Poster'' designed to evaluate and recommend changes that the organisation must implement by means of maintaining a competitive edge and responding to a rapidly changing digital landscape.
This is your opportunity to demonstrate your capability and give your employer the confidence to let you run your own project in the future.

Task 1: Digital Transformation Strategic Framework (LO1)
Critically review and propose an appropriate digital transformation strategic framework that your organisation should employed to respond to current digital change.
Important: Use 1 “One” Digital Transformation Framework (McKinsey 4Ds, BCG 3 Stages, Gartner's 6 Steps or Cognizant’s 4 Pillars) to tackle this section. Furthermore, you must include some digital transformation objectives that can support key departments such as operations, ICT, and marketing to achieve a Pass grade. You are encouraged to use examples to reinforce your arguments for Merit. For Distinction and High Distinctions, you should evidence the use of extensive personal research which has been thoroughly critically evaluated.
Task 2: Showcase Future Digital Trends (LO2)
Design a poster which evaluates and illustrates two (2) disruptive technologies and techniques that will likely impact your organisation's industry, employment and the labour market in the next 5 years.
Important: To support your arguments, please use academic literature and real-life examples. – Some key disruptive technologies that you may wish to consider are Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, 5G Connectivity, IoT, Robotics, Drones Delivery, Blockchain, Augmented and Virtual Reality.
Task 3: Digital Leadership Recommendations (LO3)
Analyse and propose two (2) appropriate digital leadership styles that your organisation should develop to effectively manage and support digital transformation throughout the organisation.
Important: You have been introduced to concepts such as hyperaware agile leaders, ethical-tech leaders, people-oriented leadership, agile leadership and the 6 Goleman leadership styles. Therefore, these might provide part of your potential proposal. However, any other relevant response is still valid.
