Assignment Description
The Civil Society Organisation (NGO) where you work has asked you to develop a 3000-word proposal for a community health initiative. This is to be used to support a grant application for the OPEC Fund for International Development. The total grant would not exceed £95,000.
Your project should focus on addressing a health-related issue/s, and the proposal should:
- Apply the Design Thinking concept; use the principles of ‘information gathering’ and ‘problem analysis and definition’ to develop the project background and justification.
- Apply the Design Thinking concept; use the principle of ‘idea generation’ to develop the innovations/interventions in your project description
- Align with specific SDG/s and targets
The proposal must be supported with relevant academic literature where appropriate. These should be accurately cited and referenced according to the York St John Harvard Referencing throughout.
