This assignment aims to assess the first half of your dissertation. You are required to submit the initial chapters, which should include the introduction, aims, objectives, research questions, hypothesis, literature review

This is your dissertation, your work, and follows on from your Proposal which was developed in the previous modulep Applied Research Methods).

The dissertation must be pitched at ‘Master’s’ level, and be relevant to your award.

Task

This assignment aims to assess the first half of your dissertation. You are required to submit the initial chapters, which should include the introduction, aims,
objectives, research questions, hypothesis, literature review, and methodology. The purpose of the two half's is to enable students further feedback
throughout the dissertation process. (A reference list containing relevant references for the first 50% should also be included - as well as any relevant
documents in the appendix).

Your submission should not include any details past the methodology section, this will be presented in assignment two.
The first submission should contain the following elements:

• Aclear introduction and background section
• Aims and objectives
• Research Questions and Hypothesis
  Literature Review

This Research-based dissertation will be presented as an IEEE Academic Paper of publishable standard, eg for an appropriate conference or appropriate
Journal.

It should fit into the publisher's template Please use the NWMS IEEE Template (IEEE two column format) - (see 7.1.1 Student Orientation Module for the
structure and further information).
