This assignment continues the scenario of Unit III in which you are an executive in a large organization/corporation you have worked in or know about. Your drafted first cut of the organization’s redesign has been accepted by the CEO for consideration, and you anticipate its approval, with some changes.
Now, the CEO has asked you for a position paper on the leadership philosophy, attributes, and behaviors that the organization under an improved redesign will require of organization leaders, from its top to bottom, to have and exercise.
Write a document of at least four pages of your vision that leaders and organization members should have and uphold in the new organization. What does a leader need to be, or know, or do to effectively lead a transition in organizational design? Is there a leadership model that best fits the organizational design/redesign?
