Background

This week, you learned about current cybersecurity challenges and Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools available to organizations. Increasingly, SIEM solutions are becoming an integral part of the data protection protocol. They are considered critical in addressing sophisticated cyber-attacks and maintaining a safe networking ecosystem. Cybersecurity response playbooks help organizations plan and counter security breaches. The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in data protection now, and recognized trends.

Instructions

For this week, write a paper that addresses cybersecurity management. Be sure it includes the following information:

1. Determine what data sources were proven effective in SIEM and the tools used to improve threat detection, investigation, and time to respond in addressing cybersecurity threats.
2. Discuss the use of cybersecurity response playbooks and steps needed to address data breaches.
3. Describe how SIEM systems can help protect critical data and solutions available.
4. Evaluate options available within SIEM solutions.
5. Explain the benefits of using SIEM in the cyber defense strategy.

Length: This assignment must be 7 pages (excluding the title and reference pages).

References: Include 12 scholarly resources (7 of them can be from previously used resources).
