Purpose:
To describe strategies for a motivating work environment and explore rewards and positive reinforcement as a manager in an organization. This assessment will develop your understanding of the importance of interprofessional collaboration in creating quality outcomes in healthcare delivery.
Instructions:
Create a presentation that explores how you would establish a motivating work environment in a healthcare setting that fosters innovation, creativity, and employee empowerment. In your presentation, address the following:
· Motivating Environment: Outline strategies to create a work environment that encourages innovation and creativity among healthcare professionals.
· Incentives and Rewards: Discuss various incentive and reward systems, with a particular focus on individualized approaches, as highlighted in your readings. Explain how these rewards can motivate employees and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
· Interprofessional Collaboration: Describe how promoting collaboration among healthcare teams can improve patient outcomes and support quality control. Emphasize the importance of teamwork in fostering a culture of patient safety.
· Application to Patient Safety: Demonstrate how these strategies will contribute to creating a safer and more effective healthcare environment.

· The power point presentation is to be clear and concise and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation and misspelling.
· The presentation should be formatted per current APA and 8-10 slides in length, excluding the title, abstract and references page. Incorporate a minimum of 5 current (published within last five years) scholarly journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work.
