Virtual Introduction Introduce yourself on the Discussion Board using one of the following methods: Virtual Photo Album: Pick five items that represent who you are and what is important to you. Compile a visual representation (i.e., pictures) of your five items for a virtual photo album. Post your five images via Flickr, a PowerPoint slide, Google Doc, Instagram, (or another tool of your choosing, as long as the rest of the class can easily access your collection). Pinterest: All About Me! Create a Pinterest Board (by pinning images and/or websites from the web) that best represents who you are and share with the class. Video Introduction: Create a simple, short welcome video (you can use the camera on your mobile device!) about yourself. Upload to the discussion board or to a private YouTube channel to share with the class. Be sure to include basic information about yourself in your post, including your concentration; where you are in the program; whether you are completing the dissertation, SRP, or are undecided; where you work; and where you live – you may need to include a short bio that includes this information to accompany the link to your virtual introduction. Once everyone has posted his/her virtual photo album, Pinterest Board, or Video Introduction, students review each other’s introductions and engage in a discussion of who we are! Please label your post with your last name and respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts
