Have you ever made a decision based on your gut feelings or intuition, only to regret it later? In some instances, relying on your instincts may lead to positive outcomes, but there are likely other cases in which you wished you had done more research and relied upon the data and facts. As the weight of decisions increases, so does the need for evidence-based decision making. If a decision leads to 10,000 layoffs, stakeholders would likely be pretty upset to find out that the basis for that decision ignored the facts and solely relied on intuition. Using these resources, you will explore evidence-based decision making and its role in finance and management in general.
