Write a Research Paper on the topic Christology. The paper is to be at least 2000 words in length, size 12 Times New Roman font, with properly cited footnotes and a bibliography. The bibliography must include at least 6 scholarly sources. Of the 6 sources, at least three must be a scholarly article written in the last 10 years. Research, historical analysis, and the ability to write are important ingredients in this course. Thus, research for the paper and the research paper itself will both carry weight in the grading process. DO NOT USE WEBSITES AS SOURCES! Students are expected to use library resources that include not only scholarly primary works (=ancient books) and secondary works (= modern scholarly books), but also scholarly religious journals. Many of these journals are available on-line through ATLA Religion database. DO NOT USE WEBSITES AS SOURCES! Students must give adequate documentation of all materials used. Plagiarism, if detected, will be strictly penalized (see the statement under “Academic Integrity” in “Section II” of the syllabus). The excessive use of quotations of what others have said is discouraged. Students should read and digest the thoughts of others and then write their own conclusions in their own words.
