Please note the Additional Requirements for Your Essay:

  • You are expected to write your essay in a formal, academic manner, and to provide evidence from numerous academic literature to substantiate your points and discussion to demonstrate your understanding and level of critical approach to human resources.
  • Your essay must be fully referenced using the UWS Harvard System (see ‘Academic Writing & Referencing Guide’ for advice);
  • Your essay must be submitted through Turnitin on the date specified. It is your responsibility to check your TURNITIN Similarity Index after submission; it should not exceed 20%. If your similarity index is over 20%, please edit your essay and resubmit before the deadline. You are allowed to resubmit up to three times before the deadline.
  • Late submission of up to one week will be penalised with a deduction of 10 marks without authorisation; no submission will be allowed more than one week late.
  • Penalty for exceeding the word count  (excluding the bibliography) is: 5 marks deduction for between 10-20%, and 10 marks for more than 20% over the word count.
